Sometimes a picture is just not enough. In this session, you will learn how to use interactive 3D modeling to give your learners a better perspective and a truly interactive experience. We will begin by assessing when 3D modeling is an effective solution for a learning program. Then, we’ll explore how such solutions are currently used at a top medical school, identify where you can find ready-to-use 3D models and tools to build your own 3D models, and discuss how to add animation and annotations to your models. The session will end with tips for adding 3D models into your courses, where your learners will be thrilled to interact with them. Expert-level technology acumen not required!
Learning Objectives:
Assess appropriate opportunities to use interactive 3D modeling in your learning programs.
Access ready-to-use 3D models and the tools needed to develop custom 3D models.
Incorporate interactive 3D models into your e-learning courses.
