Amanda Julian, PhD

Amanda Julian is the co-founder and chief science officer (CSO) of Monark, a company that is turning new and middle managers into super leaders. Monark is a data-driven development and performance optimization platform designed specifically for busy middle managers and new leaders. As CSO, Amanda brings research evidence to the company’s processes. As an organizational psychologist, Amanda’s passion lies in bridging the gap between leadership research and practice. She holds an MSc and a PhD in industrial organizational psychology from the University of Calgary and has more than eight years of experience consulting for organizations on leadership development and strategy. She has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals, such as Personality and Individual Differences and Frontiers in Psychology.
